Growing up in the heart of Europe, I was raised in a three generational house by hardworking parents and grandparents who instilled in me and my sister immeasurable values that would shape our lives. However, it was an adventurous spirit that eventually led me to the shores of Australia in my mid-twenties, where I quickly fell under the spell of this captivating country. Recognizing early on the magnificence of Australia, I knew it was where I needed to be for the foreseeable future.
Settling initially in Sydney, I found joy in the hustle and bustle of the city. It was here that I embarked on my journey for the first time as a business owner, creating an interior design consultancy business followed by a home and giftware store. Yet, as the years passed and I transitioned away from my younger, more carefree days, I found myself yearning for a quieter, more serene lifestyle. Travelling abroad for a while and participating in a serious of senior care and self-development courses set me on a different journey.
Despite brief stints thereafter in Melbourne, Brisbane & the Gold Coast Hinterland where I gained more experience in the property industry, I finally leaped into the hotel & tourism industry where it was the allure of Airlie Beach that truly captured my heart. Having frequented the area for holiday getaways since 2002, I felt a deep connection to its vibrant atmosphere and breath taking natural beauty. In early 2023, I made the decision to make Airlie Beach my permanent home, immersing myself in the community and culture.
Enchanted by the warm climate suited for a more laid-back lifestyle, stunning surroundings, and welcoming locals, I knew I had found the perfect place to pursue my passion for helping others. Thus, ‘Airlie Care’ was born – a testament to my joy for real estate combined with passion and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in my newfound home.
Recognizing the unique demands of a regional area, I set out to provide tailored services that caters to the diverse needs of the community.
In my free time, I adore exploring the wonders of the Whitsundays, going for a swim at the Lagoon or the Proserpine lap pool, or adventuring the country side. I also find solace and joy in getting creative at 3 Three little Birds, where I immerse myself in creative projects with art teacher Brigitte Peel. And of course, nothing beats the simple pleasure of catching up with friends over coffee or a meal at one of Airlie Beach's amazing cafes or restaurants.
As I reflect on my journey, I am immensely proud to have created something that I believe Airlie Beach truly benefits from. I am eager to continue serving the community and contributing to its growth and prosperity, driven by my unwavering dedication to making a positive impact wherever I can.
